Lingering Spirits Cover



This is the cover for my latest book, Lingering Spirit, a romance with a supernatural touch.

My publisher, Oak Tree Press, is planning to launch the book at the Public Safety Writer Association's conference in mid-June. You say that's kind of weird? Not so, two of the main characters are law enforcement officers.

After that I'll be taking off on a blog tour--don't know anything yet, just started making plans. If there's anyone out there who'd like to host me, just holler--well, an email might work better. mmeredith@ocsnet.net

I'll also set-up a book launch in the area where I live, maybe two if I can figure out a place to do it in Springville. Perhaps the library up here, I'll see. And we have a new second hand bookstore in town that I know will host me.

Anyway, though I'll be in Omaha at Mayhem in the Midlands talking about my mysteries when this comes out, next on the agenda is Lingering Spirit.

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
