Booksigning in Porterville CA for Dangerous Impulses

Yes, tomorrow I'll be in Porterville at Books Off Main signing copies of Dangerous Impulses. The store is on Oak with a front entrance--and a back entrance from the parking lot. It's located near Olive St. and right in back of the remodeled Subway.

I'll be there from 1 to 4. As usual there are many things going on all over the place.

Most of my church friends will be a Springville Park having a picnic.

I know big things are going on in Lindsay too. (That's the next town to Porterville.)

All I can do is hope there are a few die-hard fans who would like to support me and come to the signing. These are very informal gatherings, I don't give a speech but I love to visit and will answer questions about my book and writing questions or anything else you'd like to chat about.

Anyone who buys a book will get a raffle ticket. I'm raffling off a basket that is loaded with fun food items.

So if you don't have anything to do sometime between 1 and 4, to come on over to Books Off Main and say "hi."

Like I do with many folks, I met Morgen through the Internet when I learned about the great interviews she does. I thought it would be fun to turn the tables on Morgen and find out something things about her, so here goes: Morgen, except for the fact that you do terrific interviews I know very little about you. Today is My Birthday!

I never thought I'd live this long! The last few years, birthday celebrations have usually been a nice dinner out in a restaurant. Hard to do these days. Sometimes cake and ice cream is how we celebrate. This year my granddaughter, Melissa, is doing something special. She's taking her grandpa and me to a place about 1 1/2 hours away for lunch, called The Secret Garden. I've not only never been there, but I've never heard of it. I took a peek on the Internet and it looks like a beautiful place to celebrate most anything. Yes, I'm excited. I'll take pictures and report on it when I get back. Melissa is special. Everyone loves here, young and old alike. I was in the delivery room when she was born--exciting and wonderous. I babysat her many times until her mom and dad moved to Central California.
